Hi, I'm 22 year old and I'm going to Okinawa on August 16th. I plan to rent a car there with my friend, who can't drive, so it'll just be me registered as the driver.

I've seen a few places where I wanted to rent have a requirement that says the driver needs to have had their license for at least a year, which I understand to avoid problems, but I've heard not all rentals have this.

Can anyone recommend me a rental car company without this requirement?

I'm already aware of the fact that I'll need to have a shoshinsa mark on my rental car if this goes through, and I also already have an IDP for Japan.

I heard because it's a small camera it can heat up quite fast, which is okay assuming it happens under normal weather conditions. However I'm going to Japan this summer and most people already know how notoriously humid and hot it gets there and I'm lowk worried my cammie will just fry or hardly have any filming time before shutting down due to the temperature.

Has anyone ever filmed using the Go Ultra in summer Japan? Can anyone tell me of it's worth it or not? I haven't bought it yet but I'm 100% sure this will be my first cammie for vlogging.

If not now I'll buy it in the future for another trip to somewhere else cooler, but I really wish to vlog in Japan. If it's just not realistic I can accept that though
