After the rather abysmal weather app that that has plagued amazfit watches, finally comes something that is looking a lot more better and professional.

No more of that unintuitive graph not giving a clear idea of the temperature, tyle of weather, wind and time during the day

Sorry for those that like it, but I am not going to miss it. Using it was a nightmarish experience.

Very nicely surprised to find that that Feels Like et Précipitation (Chance of Rain) is included.

Also, the Air Quality control card has been added.

Now, if only they could also make one of the Altitude, Barometer and Compass. (Like the ABC widget for Garmin.)

Anyway, I am ecstatic with the update here. Gonna be very useful. 😁

Today we are launching our first live-streaming radio app for your little devices, called WatchFM.

What does it bring to the table?

1. Simple to use. Press the Play button and enjoy the music.
2. Listen to the newest hits around the world. Top US and AU radio stations.
3. No pre-downloads / No WiFi access point nonsense / No Settings component to set up; everything is bundled in a single mini app

The app should be available in stores for the majority of Round watches, starting now. You can search by its name WatchFM or its ID 1120343.

Note: support for Square (rectangular) devices is coming up next, so stay tuned for the update.

Pretty much the same update that also came with the Cheetah 2 Ultra.

I think that with this update, the Balance 2 mostly matches everything that the Balance 3 has to offer, software feature wise?

If that is the case, then that is impressive.

Of course, one shouldn't expect the new devices released this year, to be on sale, so soon. Sometimes, it happens, but not for this weekend.

Yes, yes. I know Amazfit tends to release over 9000 watches in a year (lol).

But to be honest, it's always fun to see people either like ghe new releases or hate it, and share opinions. Surprise releases are fun for me. (Can't wait for the three next rumored devices at this time of writing.

But more to the point, something that people here seems to bring up a lot, is design for everyday watches. That is to say, a design other than the sporty/rugged type.

I see the Active 2 series (Round especially) being consistently mentioned (with good reason honestly, the design is just peak), with the Balance 2 series and T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm as well. I sometimes see the Falcon being thrown in as well, as it can both be rugged and rough while being casual everyday watch with the right band.

So I made a poll. I'm curious to see whether you guys would like to see a series that has a dressy kind of approach.

I think you already know my answer to this question. 🤣

Enjoying the first minutes atm.

A few interesting discoveries.

• The menu is smoother and faster. There seems to be a new chip inside it. But maybe I'm wrong, since I've never used the recent T-Rex watches.
• Control panel is white now woth black icons. Is that the same for the Active 3 and T-Rex watches?
• The notifications are combined with the control panel menu, I suppose that is new. Basically you swipe down and you see both.
• Whenever you go to the control menu/notifications or the shortcut cards menu. The watchface is blurred in the background.
• YAAAAAAAY, FLASHLIGHT! 🤣
• The Cheetah 2 Pro includes the Golf workout. You can download maps and access it straight from the workout menu. It no longer comes as a seperate app. (I have personally made the suggestion to include it so THANK YOUUUU!!!)

This thing is fully titanium. When you feel the watch, it honestly feels premium (compared to the Balance 2's aluminium build).It's light silverish-gold with black accents. Honestly, it reminds me a bit of the previous Cheetah Pro.

The bezel around the screen (the black outline) is plastic. Supposed to protect the screen from the side.

Now, as for the black inner bezel and the small screen.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me. And it's probably because they switched the design.

This is the pre-release Cheetah 2 Pro with the Bezel markings of the Active 3.

They replaced it with a new subtle design with numbers.

The size of the screen, it being 1.32" is not a bother either. Perhaps it's because I got used to it, when I wore the Active 2. But at 48mm of size, it is quite large. Then again, this is similar to the Fenix/Epix 7 series that have a similar sized screen. 🤣

But yes, I love the design honestly. This is the first time I've actually liked a sport focuses watch. Usually most have a boring design.

Anyway, that's it from me. Am I going to look for a black nylon band?! Probably. It's really comfortable.

Am I going to do the near-impossible task of finding a metal band that matches its color?! Knowing my stubbornness, that will be a resounding yes. 🤣🤣🤣.

But not now. My wallet is weeping. 🤣

Oh for those asking, no, it's not yet available in America, as of 29 April 2026. But it is, in Europe, which is where I had it come here. Took me two days from Italy to Canada. DHL Express never fails 😁.
