Starting to regret we switched ISP
We've been with Globe at home for almost 5 years, but last month, April 19, We've experienced LOS, and it's an everyday effort to reach out to their customer service and be told every single day that a technician is coming, after 2 weeks, we decided to switch back to PLDT.
But after that, the internet speed wasn't reaching our plan of 200 mbps. Internet speed results only show around 10 mbps of download and upload. It was another week of slow internet connection. And then, finally, May 7, we thought the bad days were over. Finally, globe technician reached out about our internet but too late, we had already switched.
But after another week, May 14, where the infamous senate coup and rotational brownout timely happened, a candle caused house fire in the area which led to unfortunate events, including the wirings for PLDT connections being burned causing no internet service yet again in our house. May 20, still no internet with no specific date or timeline as to when our internet service will be back.
As someone with a remote job, it's been weeks and months of stress. I've spent a lot of money on paying for Mobile data, too. 🫠🙃
