What's the solution if 36 mg doesn't feel like its working anymore but 54mg felt like too much

I didn't want to switch to elvanse just because of the hassle of going through all the titration again but it might be the solution. Frustrating as 36 mg felt fine for a while then nothing . I thought it might be the hot weather and disrupted sleep lately ,I'm not sure

Anyone switched from concerta to elvanse ? Anyone had issues ?

Possibly switching from 36 mg concerta to 20 mg elvanse . Anyone done the same and had any side effects or anything to watch out for ?

Anybody here come off 36mg concerta to 20 mg elvanse ? If so was there any noticeable side effects

Or was it a smooth transition ? Anything I should look out for? Is elvanse good in the heat ?

I have been on 54 mg for 5 days and was told to come off due to my heart rate being around between 90 and 120 all day

My prescriber said even walking it shouldn't be that high . But checking online it says a 50 year old man walking heart rate would probably be between 90 and 110 anyway . So not sure I needed to come off it. But I have dropped down to 27 mg concerta until I get my new elvanse 20 mg. My heart rate even on 27 mg has spiked to 116 when walking so either thats just me or im reactive to concerta . So a lower dose won't make any difference

Should I just stop concerta and wait for elvanse

Taking 54mg and i thinking I'm getting tics

Noticed some facial spasms ,very short ,like second or so long. Is this common ? Ive heard concerta can produce tics . Ive definitely had occurrences like this before taking concerta but very very sporadically but I feel like I'm having them more often now since going up to 54mg but 36 mg wasn't really doing anything for me

Anybody dropped from 54 mg to 27mg on here ?

Does it cause any side effects. I feel like 54 mg is too much at the moment ,so want to drop the dosage . Thinking of trying 27mg then work up to 36mg .

What's everyone's resting heart rate and general heart rate averagely on 54mg

Mine has been around 85 up to 110 ish when walking or doing mimimal exertion during the day . For example sitting on the couch now its 90 bpm. I know stimulants will raise it but is it normal to ge around that mark

Exercising on 54 mg , done my first exercise today and my heart rate went up to 161 bpm and wasn't even running

I was doing a fast walk on treadmill normally I would be in 120 bpm range ,this was concerning as I wouldn't call it high exertion . So I stopped my workout ,any tips on this because I really need to work out by my bpm even when resting on concerta is in the 80s and any exertion lifts it into the hundreds currently .

Is there anyway to stop the random sweats on concerta I get periods in the day where I feel hot and sweaty

Happens just randomly at points in the day. If I exert myself then a lot worse but will happen at any point and then the back of my head is just damp and feel incredibly hot . Any tips on reducing this

Been in 54 ng for a week now . Getting a lot smoother during the day but..

Having much worse sleep, having jumpy nightmares and waking up with anxiety feeling. Wondered if anyone else experienced this . Been getting jittery in the evening and thought that was just part of a crash.

Anyone drop down from 54mg to 27mg , any side effects

Thinking of dropping back down because 54mg feels too much at times , it might smooth out but I do have some 36mg and 27mg to try. Has anyone felt any different when switching down

With no issues . I have a day tomorrow where I feel like having some drinks. Been on concerta for just over two and half months ,now on 36mg . If I take a day break to have a night out , I won't get any withdrawal effects or weird side effects ?

Im currently on 36mg and last couple of days I've felt agitated and anxious all day , about my 5th week on 36mg and otherwise generally been fine, suppose to be going up to 54 mg tomorrow but I have a big day at work tomorrow and cant afford to be feeling like this . Should I take a break from it . I feel very jittery and imagine my bp and heart rate are raised .

I started taking it in the winter ,now heading into the spring/summer, wondered if it makes you extra sweaty or uncomfortable in hot weather as I've yet to experience it
