Variegated Bell Pepper

The variety is Keystone Giant , this is almost a 2 month growth different in the plant . Blooms have started and I think the peppers may end up with white stripes !

Tomatoes

I have 7 cherry tomato plants growing in 5 gal and 10 gal grow bags . Sweet millions , sun sugar , sweet 100s and husky cherry red are the varieties . All have produced fruit but none have begun blushing orange or red . Most of the fruit reached full size about a month ago , is this normal ?

Watermelon 🍉

I planted 6 seedlings ( crimson sweet ) who’s roots were severely tangled . I gently separated all of them with little to no root damage but They looked like they’re experiencing some transplant shock, will they survive ? First time gardener ! 🪴 🪏

I separated and planted 4 black diamonds at the same time but they didn’t seem to be experiencing any transplant shock.

Habanero

Upstate NY gardener here …. What’s going on with this habanero ??

Bought from a nursery and ended up with two seedlings in one cup so I’ve been calling them “The Twins, Henrietta and Harry” lol. They both seem stunted at this height and have yellowing leaves .

Thoughts on ladybugs in gardens

This is my first year gardening and I’ve noticed a aphid problem. I’ve been contemplating introducing ladybugs to my garden as a form of pest control . I’ve seen many gardeners do the same but was wondering do the cons outweigh the pros ?

I live in upstate NY so I’ve heard I should try to find native NY ladybug species .

What is going on with this bell pepper plant ?

I’ve grown it from seed , the 18 other pepper seedlings that were grown in the same soil and same environment are perfectly normal . The white banding started from the moment its seedling leafs popped out the soil, as shown in picture . Now every few leaves that grow from it have white markings ? It’s a Keystone Giant bell pepper.
