I know that getting into Soulslike games will open up a whole world of great games, but I've never given it a proper go! - Need advice on the best entry to the genre and what got you really hooked!
I am a lifelong gamer of many genres. I spent many years on DoTA, Overwatch loving the MOBA stuff, then my action games, God of War (all of them), Diablo (all of them to some degree), Helldivers 2, Chivalry 2. Roguelikes aplenty. Looter shooters like Borderlands, Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands. MMO's like WoW and ESO.
I'm stuck for new games and I see how good some of these Soulslike games are but for some reason i never leant in and all of a sudden, i have like a few hours a week to game cos, life, and i want some killer single player experiences.
What got you hooked, and any tips for me to enter the genre? Also, Demon's Souls is free on PS+. Is this a good place to start?
