An okayish Vietnamese meal at Phobidden fruit - Indiranagar

After hearing a lot about Vietnamese food at this place, we chose to go for brunch on a weekday. We gotta a nice cosy indoor sitting next to their in-house green space(50% real - 50% artificial plants lol). We ordered creamy seasame noodles(650), an avo bahn mi(450) and a classic bun cha. I was very much excited about the Bun Cha(700), as I had the most authentic one in Vietnam(the one featured on Tony's show with Barack Obama) so my expectations were straight up high for that and Bahn mi too.

First in, we got the creamy sesame noods which was told to us that it would be saucy. But when we got it, it was soupy/runny as hell with no body(viscous). The sesame flavour was raw, mushrooms in it were well cooked and had a great texture. Second in, the bahn mi short baguette was really good, it had more room for flavouring tho. Lastly, the Bun Cha was very average, grilled pork and buff patties were really well cooked and seasoned. The quantities for soup and vermicelli noods were really less for the pricing.

Tl;dr - a very okayish Vietnamese food, few things are good and few are terrible. Ppl who have had food in Vietnam can skip.

I had a highly disappointing burger from The Burgery In.

I had ordered a Smash Down(a quarter pounder with some cheese and pickles also some sweetish Mayo). The packaging was sub'est parrr. All this for 500 bucks. My housemade garlic crisp chilli oil for the rescue!! Thoughts? Experiences?
