Sulimay's my beloved
As a certified diner luvr, I am coming to share my deep, abiding, consistent love for Sulimay's. It's everything you want in a old school diner. Kitschy, nostalgic, cash only, damn good food. The hashbrowns are to die for. And I'm from the South, so I know my way around a hashbrown.
Solid biscuits and gravy, too. Delicious pancakes. I come here once a week or so, and I've never had a bad meal. Kind people, hot coffee, that diner ambience that almost makes you feel anonymous (in a good way). What more could you want?
Trust me, friends, if you haven't been, it's well worth the trip out to Fishtown.
I've heard their burger night on Wednesdays is exceptional too, but I haven't been yet 👀
