1,000,001 ozempic questions: but I will condense it down to 3
Hey everyone!
I have been on Ozempic for almost 5 weeks at the 0.25 dose. It has been pretty great so far, I have lost 8.9 lbs and have been steadily making small changes so I don't completely overwhelm myself (love an all or nothing personality). With that being said, the initial weight was majority lost in the first week, which I know is pretty normal, but I have been hovering around the same spot up until recently, where I have lost another pound.
Right out the gate, my cravings were minimal but I can slowly feel them creeping their way back (especially since I am heading towards my luteal phase). Basically, I have way too many questions for just one thread, so I do apologize but this is off the top of my head.
Should I stay at 0.25? Or should I factor in the weeks where there was no fluctuation? Does it really make a big difference jumping up to 0.5?
Should I base my decision on increasing less on weight and more on food noise and craving control instead?
For those of you have chosen to stay at a low dosage, what has that experience been like for you?
Along with my general questions, I also have a trip coming up. I am wondering if it is worth navigating side effects while on a trip or if I should just wait to increase my dose when I come back (last thing I want is to be sick or tired on a trip 6 months in the making).
I know this is way too many things to ask but I am tired of scouring the internet for answers when I know there are amazing people on the same journey who can share their experiences with me. Thanks in advance!
