Is everyone over exaggerating or am I under exaggerating?

My mom (56) had a stroke last month on July 9th. She's still unconscious, she can only open her eyes and twitch the right side of her mouth, with a drain in the head to drain the bleeding and a Tracheostomy.

The doctors said that she's recovering slower than they expected (they did tell us it could take months),

My dad (they r divorced) is talking as if she's dying, and my supervisor at work asked if she has brain damage..

My brain is kinda dissociating and I felt mostly numb or stressed but now I'm starting to genuinely get scared again that she might die or have severe brain damage and I'll have to move back in with her to become a full caretaker... Any comfort or reality check is welcome thanks:')

Long distance relationship will be even more distant soon so I wanna break up

I 24M and my partner 26NB have been dating for 5 months but have known each other for at least 3 years (this is my longest romantic relationship, I don't really have a lot of experience).

I love them, but I know this'll be a short term relationship because once they graduate university they r moving to another country (not specifying where for privacy).

This is something they have talked about even before we started dating so I knew this'll come but I wasn't expecting it to be so soon (it'll happen by the end of this year).

I am already having a hard time with our current long distance relationship (it's about 3-4 hours car ride, I don't have a license so it's between 4-5 hours bus ride for me) I won't be able to handle a 4 hours plane flight...

They also have been talking about moving in together which kinda confuses me cuz I did mention that I want to move to the city where they currently live in but I'm not planning on moving until at least 1-2 years which will be after they move.

They've also jokingly said they want to propose once or twice, not sure if they were serious or not but it confuses me even more.

I'd like to think we are good at communication but I don't know how to bring this up.

I love them, both as a friend and a partner and I don't want to hurt them or lose our friendship. How/when do I break up with them?
