Old 2019 AMA from David Berman
Since I just found out that we can longer stalk pylonshadow (Berman's old reddit account), I figured I could put this AMA from DB in 2019. For those that haven't seen it.

So, I have spend most of my undergrad (rising senior) under the pretense that I will take a gap year. Now, I am seriously considering bypassing that and taking the August + October LSAT.
As a result (and partially due to my irresponsibility, admittedly), I am severely underprepared. I'm willing to dedicate a LOT of time to studying now, however I don't know where to start.
My raw diagnostic was 164 and I scored almost perfectly even across all sections. I've only taken one extra practice test since then and I scored the exact same haha. So I feel kinda confident about where my starting abilities lie now.
And beyond the Mike Kim trainer book, I'm basically at ground 0. Assuming that I can dedicate 20-30 hours a week, what should my plan vaguely look like? (lmk if I should push for more, or if that'll cause me to crash and burn). I can't afford a tutor/course, I would say that baseline 7Sage is around my affordability rn (I am considering that). What programs are best? I've seen to rely on drills, prep books, and youtube videos instead of 7sage. Any ideas? Is it worth spending a lot of time on fundamentals, or should I focus on practice and review? Help me not spiral!!!
Any advice I much appreciated. Thank you!
