This isn’t me having a go or accusing anyone of anything, and I personally don’t use the upload feature except to upload DAW edits of things I pulled out as stems - but I used upload the other day without issue, in the midst of reports about false-flags.

It made me think - why is this affecting some users and not all?

Seeing alot of the posts over the past week, a fair number of them (not a majority) were un/knowingly uploading meta-tagged copywritten songs without realising so (misunderstanding or disregarding actual copyright rules). It makes me wonder if your account gets a hidden flag if you ever upload something questionable - whether due to meta-data, repeated lyrics or audio match, audio watermark (or lack thereof) etc.

I appreciate there will be those that ARE false flags recently, but being honest with yourself - not everyone gets it right first time, and some people will test the boundaries to find where they are, so I’m wondering if it could be a strike system, or something that looks back through your library etc.

It would make sense to keep this kind of system quiet as users would just cancel their account and sign up under a new one if they knew.
