Journey from Gamecube to PS5! Finallyyy!!!

I did it guys! Went ahead and bought myself a shiny new PS5 digital!

I had patiently been waiting on this purchase for months, ever since my gaming laptop gave up on me. Initially I really wanted to get the PS5 Pro since it was rumoured to launch in India soon. I even got an oled tv to pair it with, lol. But the lack of India warranty and official support was a dealbreaker for me, especially since my imported laptop ended up giving me lots of trouble, and without local warranty support it was very expensive to repair. Couldn't risk it happening again.

But I am really glad I to get back to console gaming again man, it's been ages since I've owned one. I'm now an "unc" as the genz would say, but still a gamer kid through and through. I know this is a playstation subreddit but I was feeling nostalgic and really wanted to share a little of my gaming history with you folks (genuinely share, not to flex). My first console was a, believe it or not, Nintendo Gamecube (yes I'm that old, lol). I played all sorts of arcade-y games on it, most of which I don't even remember now. Then I got my first handheld, a baby blue Gameboy Advance SP and eventually convinced my dad to purchase me a Sony PS2 slim. That was my first Sony moment and man I cherish it to this day. I still remember coming back from school and spending hours playing NFS Hot Pursuit 2 on it. Funny thing is, for many months I used to play it without a memory card (yes, back in those days we needed it buy it separately, and it used to be a proprietary small card having...get this...8MB of memory!!). I played that console to the death (literally, it tragically fell from a shelf one day and stopped working since then, RIP). My last console was my trusty jet black PSP 2000 I got for my 12th bday. That was a special one, got my first taste of the internet on it (iykyk) and geeky things like flashing custom rom, downloading pirated songs/movies on it, etc. I still have it stashed away at home somewhere, the only preserved relic from my childhood gaming era.

Fast forward to today, I'm 30 yo, recently married, and have convinced my wife to spend our adult money on a new console! I really wanted to introduce her to the gaming world I've grown up in. She was pretty much a non-gamer till now and has briefly dabbled in mobile gaming with stuff like PUBG (back when it was popular af) and Subway Surfer, Candy Crush etc. Really excited to get her hooked on actual games (hehe)!

Well that's it from my end! Felt a bit nostalgic & emotional and wanted to share it with the wider gamer audience here. Hope it reminded some of you about your own childhood memories as well. Would love to hear some of your stories if you guys have any. Cheers!

tldr: Bought a PS5 and excited to get back to console gaming! Wish me luck guys!

Slavia mileage reduced after 1st service

Guys I recently got the 1st servicing done for my Skoda Slavia 1.5 AT. Now I know the german sedans are not well known for their city mileage. But I swear I feel the mileage has perceptibly reduced after the servicing.
I used to get around 10-12kmpl before. I even remember getting doubts digits in bumper to bumper traffic. But now I'm lucky if I get 10+ on a 15-20km trip in the city even when I drive with a light foot. My long term mileage is also around 9.5 or something.
Is this normal? Will it get better? Should I take it up with the service center?
