PR 1 Hike one way?

We want to do the hike at noon, we cannot find any information on how to get back to the parking after completing the hike. Every transfer found online is only for the sunset hike. Does anyone know how to get back to the carpark after completing the trial?

Koffiehoekje creëren

👋🏻 Hoi!

Thanks!

Delayed Union After Clavicle ORIF

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to hear from people who have experienced a delayed union after clavicle fracture surgery (ORIF).

A bit of background:
I fractured my clavicle in January and underwent surgery on January 28th. The fracture was displaced and part of the clavicle was comminuted (multiple fragments). I’m now several months post-op.

Follow-up X-rays show that the bone is healing, but much slower than expected. My surgeon has described it as a delayed union rather than a non-union at this stage.

The plate and screws remain stable and there are no signs of hardware failure. I have very little pain in daily life.

My main concerns are:
- How long it ultimately took for your delayed union to fully heal.
- Whether the bone eventually united without additional surgery.
- When you were able to safely return to weight training, sports, or heavy physical activity.
- Whether anyone used a bone stimulator and if it helped.

It’s been frustrating because I feel physically capable of doing much more, but the X-rays don’t seem to be keeping pace with how I feel.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through a similar situation, especially if your fracture was comminuted or required plating.

Thanks in advance!
