During the heatwave in the Northeast this week, my dad and I rode >1000mi on some of the best driving roads in the US

(In my opinion). My '95 Honda ST1100, his '24 KLR650, we did 1800mi to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park south-to-north in three days, camping along the way. Despite 90-100°F highs every day and some hot thunderstorms, we made good time and enjoyed the riding amazingly.
