I am a current CJO holder with 🔺 (training scheduled for November) and this will be my first time moving away on my own. I would love to be able to have my own place if I am based in a affordable city (leaning to bid for MSP/DTW)

For those who are based there, what is the rent looking like for certain nice apartments close to the airport (studio or 1 bed) Can you find places for about $1200-$1300 or less and where did you look for places? I also have a car note but would you suggest selling it to free up finances? I need all the advice! thanks ☺️
