bonus points if said Sequel has relatively small time jumps throughout

1. Halloween II (after John Carpenter's Halloween) - The 1978 horror classic ends with Dr. Sam Loomis saving Laurie Strode by shooting Michael Myers six times, causing him to fall off a balcony. When Loomis checks over the balcony, Michael is nowhere to be found. The 1981 sequel picks up from this point, where we get the infamous "I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES!!!" moment from Loomis. [BONUS POINT: The time jumps in the movie are small]

2. Halloween Kills (after Halloween 2018) - While on the topic of Halloween, the 2018 requel (which ignores all other movies except the first one), set 40 years after that fateful night, ends with an injured Laurie, with the help of her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson, trapping Michael Myers in the house as Laurie sets the house on fire as they escape to a nearby hospital. Kills starts exactly at that point as firefighters drive to the burning house, with Laurie exclaiming "LET HIM BURN!!!". Of course the firefighters didn't hear her, and they inadvertently set Michael free from the trap. [BONUS POINT: The entire movie is set on the exact same night as the 2018 movie]

3. Spider-Man: No Way Home (after S-M: Far From Home) - FFH ends with a fabricated video recording of Mysterio exposing Spider-Man's identity being released to the world, with Peter, to his shock, saying WTF as the screen cuts to black before he coild finish his statement. NWH opens with this exact same moment, with the only difference being Peter's WTF being censored by a nearby vehicle's horn. The movie spends the next few minutes showing the immediate reaction of everyone around.

4. Quantum Of Solace (after Casino Royale) - Casino Royale's final scene shows Mr. White receiving a call. As he asks who's calling, he gets shot in the leg from somewhere as he tries to crawl away. James Bond walks in frame with a suppressed SMG in hand, answering Mr. White's question with the iconic line: "The name's Bond. James Bond." Quantum Of Solace opens with Bond in an intense car chase. after losing his pursuers, it's revealed that Mr. White was in the trunk of the car Bond was driving.

5. John Wick: Parabellum (after John Wick 2) - at the end of John Wick 2, Winston excommunicates John for killing Santino D'Antonio in Continental Grounds earlier, a central rule throughout Continental Hotels around the world. However, out of professional courtesy, Winston gives John a 1-hour headstart to flee. This example's a bit of a stretch since Parabellum starts with John (and his dog) on the run with only a few minutes left before his bounty officially activates.
