Mach E level 1 charging speed

I just pulled the trigger on a Mach E extended range and trying to decide if I actually need a level 2 charger.

My daily commute is 100 km round trip with 14 hours available to charge over night in my garage. And then on the typical weekend I might only drive 50 km all weekend.

I should be ok with level 1 right? My only concern is in the winter with the reduced range. Will I have any issue with that?

Mach E Pricing - Buy or wait

I've seen some really good Mach E premium deals lately but wasn't planning to get a car until sometime next year. My current car is paid off, running fine and good on gas but is a Kia with almost 180k km's on it so was planning on getting rid of it around 200k just to be safe.

The estimated car payments less fuel savings are going to come out to around $700 a month so if I buy today vs 10 months from now, that's an extra $7,000 I'm spending. That's a lot of money and I don't think 2027 Mach E prices would go up by that much vs today will they?

My compulsive side is just saying buy a shiny new car now but I just don't think it makes enough financial sense. Thoughts?

Mortgage Renewal Switch Process

Apologies if this is a stupid post but this is the first time I've renewed a mortgage so this is all totally new to me.

My current lender doesn't send out renewal offers until 45 days and the early renewal offer wasn't that attractive. So I reached out to a broker to see what was out there. They came back with a solid offer with cash back so I decided to go forward with the new lender and signed the commitment letter.

The new lender will cover the title switch for free with FCT but when my broker mentioned that, she was almost kind of pushing me against doing that saying FCT has been slow processing things lately. Is this something to worry about? Or is there any advice for me to keep an eye out for or follow up at points? We're still 75 days out so I figured this would be ample time for FCT to handle things.

The other thing is that my address is on the border between two towns and depending on which system you use, it will say either town or even the municipality. For example, my current mortgage says town xyz but in my broker's system, it listed town abc. So on the commitment letter with the new lender it shows town abc but my current title shows town xyz. She didn't seem to think it would be an issue but I wanted a second opinion as to if it might cause an issue with the payout/title transfer?

TIA! I just wanted to try and get a peace of mind because this has been more stressful than I thought it would.

MCAN Mortgage Rates

Has anyone gotten a mortgage with mcan recently? I'm up for renewal in 3 months and want to start comparing rates but they apparently don't send out renewal letters until 60 days before close.

I see they have published rates on their website but don't know if those are the ones I'd actually be offered. They're showing 4.39% for a 5 year fixed and I'm seeing rates online quite a bit lower than that so was curious as to if they'd match a 4.09% rate somewhere else.
