Recommendations for a trip in Warszawa

I’m a Hungarian guy and in the middle of August I will spend a few days in the Polish capital. I would love to explore Warszawa in the best and deepest ways possible - beside the typical touristic sightseeing - also just like a local.
I would like to ask you to recommend me all the great places and things to do in Warszawa which might not appear in the basic tourist recommendations. Anything can come: nice buildings, amazing streets, fun places, great cafes and restaurants or breathtaking museums.
I’m myself a photographer, so any recommendation for great city shots from Warszawa are also welcome, such as secret perspectives, viewpoints or inner yards.
If you know something hidden and would like to share with me to make my trip more memorable, don't keep it to yourself.
