Is Seodaemun a good place to stay at?

Hi! I am going to visit Seoul next May and I was looking for places where to stay at. I found hotel at Seodaemun which is 50 meters away from Seodaemun Station and 800 meters away from Chunjeongno Metro station. It’s my first time visiting Seoul, so I am not familiar with the city. Would this be a good location to stay at? Thank you in advance!

Best destinations for first-time solo traveler in South/East Asia?

Hi! I'm a young woman and I've never traveled alone, but I'd be really interested in doing a solo trip somewhere in South or East Asia. I've only travelec with friends and family in Europe (where I'm also from), so traveling in Asia is not something I'm familiar with yet. So that's why I'm asking here, what would be good destinations for a first-time traveler? I'm open to any country or destinations in there, but I thought l'd ask here for tips :) I'm looking for a country that isn't insanely expensive and is somehow safe for women who are alone. So please recommend me destinations!
