XenoThreat combat - Rubber banding

XenoThreat combat - Rubber banding

I am a cargo hauler. I do not spend that much time in combat.
Sometimes a Gilly here and there for a quick buck.
Then comes my first XenoThreat event....
Doing combat non stop and I notice: RUBBER BANDING OVERWHELMING.

Wtf man. Is ship shooting other ships not the bread and butter of SC?
Why is it so bad?

And before you judge my internet connection without knowing anything about it:
ISP with glass fiber internet connection - 1 Gbit up and down - Desktop connected wired off course no Wi-Fi crap.

And the talked about Drake Clipper competitor is...

"The second, a new ship from a Xi'an manufacturer designed to fulfill a generalist role, entered pre-production." Txt from the monthly report.

So the talked about second ship with the official role/designation Generalist will be an alien ship.

Aegis Tiburon "quick" fix?

So the S10 laser beam is not working 100%.
And that was to be expected as we have seen from the laser beam weapon of the Idris.
The Idris one is broke for years now?
So the expectation for the Tiburon laser getting fixed anytime soon is not great right?

So how about this "quick" fix:
Give the Tiburon on optional S10 Laser canon.
So something that fires a energy ball of death. Like the S7 canon from the Crusader Ion but but dialed to 10. S10 hehehehe.

It will make the Tiburon a long range sniper.
What do you guys think about this optional weapon kit for the Tibby?

Scavenge & looting = boring anno 2026

Scavenge & looting = boring anno 2026.

I joined SC in June 2025.
Before playing I watched a lot of SC content on youtube.
At that time people showed shooting ships in Gilly or other NPC mission ships, and they did NOT explode all the time....unlike today.
So what they did is EVA out of the ship, pull out parts with tractor and bring it back to their ship.

So that was one of the first things I did in SC.
My first EVA with the muffled sounds, and pulling the guns off some NPC ship and bringing it back to my Intrepid was like magic to me.
Instantly fell in love.

Fast forward to today:
I come a place with tons of ships, even parts and guns on the ground.
All bricked.
Find a dead player? You can not take his armor or weapons.

There is zero dot zero scavenge game play left in SC.
And ships explode most of the time when firing at them instead of going soft death.

The combination of these 2 things let SC feel like a other game.

What do you guys think about not being able to pickup and use ship parts, ship weapons, player armor and player weapons anymore?

it might be anti-duping systems, but it makes the game loop of scavenging boring and dead as a dodo.

RSI Meteor rear end

Does anybody know what the RSI Meteor rear end supposed to be for?
Its a large part of the ship, its hollow, and inside there looks to be 4 rails with yellow "clamps"
Is that space supposed to be to store cryopods for bounty hunting?

UPDATE: Its for missiles!

Quote of the day: "The CM module is mostly a gimmick. 99% of times you will never undock and leave ICA behind."

100% agree. Was it worth all the drama? I do not think so.
A cool central bridge is 100% beter then some small wanna be ship that you are never going to use undocked outside the times you are testing your Ironclad.
