Anyone spot any discounts running for the 4th? I saw Diadem has 50% off for their older paddles and some of their shoes.

In addition to paddles, everyone can always uses shoes, grips, balls, etc.

At my public court, we were using one of my balls during our game. Is there any set etiquette on asking for my ball back after the game is over and I am no longer playing on the same court (or leaving for the day)?

there was a player who made me feel bad that I asked for my ball back before I left the public court for the day during their game (I even asked when their game ended).
Balls are somewhat inexpensive but the cost can add up if players lose balls repeatedly.

I’ve been telling my beginner friends to invest in a good $100 gen 4 paddles like Vatic Vsols or Enhance epp turbos. Is this solid advice? They are graduating from terrible starter paddles.

They keep finding cheap no-name gen 1-2 honeycomb cores on Amazon/Temu that uses AI slop to generate images of players using their paddles. I keep arguing that you get what you pay for, and cheapskates pay twice.
