I'm booked to go to Aguascalientes on 31st July, and I was planning on getting collectivos to Hidrioelectrica and hike from there. But I've just found out that there's a national holiday on the 31st. Will the collectivos still be running?
I'm coming to Peru in June, and I was thinking of popping down to the town of Pisco at some point to try and sample some of the drink that they make there. Is it actually a decent place to visit, and to actually buy pisco, or would I be able to find a good selection of pisco just about anywhere? I have this idea of buying some bottles that farmers have been knocking up at home, rather than more mass-produced pisco, I'm just wondering how realistic this idea is?
