HELP!!! Looking for a place in Minneapolis!
Hi everyone!
So I’m moving to Minnesota in like 2 weeks and I need help.
I’m looking to live close to the MSP airport which is where I’ll be working. I was told to look in places like:
Richfield, Bloomington, Eagan, Eden Piere, West Saint Paul, Burnsville.
I’ve been shying away from places northeast of the airport because I think someone said they’re bad areas? I’m a single woman, without pets and would prefer a diverse area. Somewhere I’d feel safe going for a walk or a run. Please enlighten me because I’m still unsure. I’ve looked at apartments in the NE and they said their cars got stolen so, I’m looking for a few things:
Garage parking!!!! I heard the winters are bad. At least worse than NY and I park in a garage here.
In unit washer and dryer or at least the hookups
Again, somewhere close to the airport where I can get to my job within a maximum 15 minute drive.
I’m on a budget because my job starting pay isn’t that great (early 20s) so my budget is $1300 max after utilities and everything. Preferably lower. So if anyone has ANY info that can help, I’d be grateful!
