Hi, I am already working with a airline through a 3rd party contractor as an electrician but am enrolled to go to school to hopefully eventually become a dispatcher (tired of physical labor) but will having an assault charge and a disorderly conduct conviction and being on probation prevent me from getting a job? Or should I wait to get my record expunged
Hello! I have about 1 1/2 years of experience dispatching for a regional. While I was there, I trained new hires and ended up becoming a Dispatch Supervisor. I had to move and end my experience due to personal/family reasons. Right now, I have an offer with United Ramp and SWA FA. I know United offers employees Dispatch refresher classes to help stay current. I was wondering if anyone knew if SWA offers something similar? Or any opinions on which route you would personally take to ultimately end up dispatching again!
