Just a bunch of different species, not to scale. Some of the colors are made and not canon as far as I know. Can you name all of them???

Also known as the bone horses, these guys had an empire of hundreds of worlds back in the day but now they are just architects for the carryx. I had a lot of fun drawing these because they are so mysterious. The fact their joints make sparks when they move makes me think they might be biomechanical beings or something close to it, which I tried to get across with their design. I also imagined their front legs have hand-like appendages since I can’t imagine they could become so technologically advanced without being able to manipulate objects haha.

Our beloved beasts of violence, here we have the exploding wookies and the murder centipedes, as part of my series to catalogue every main species in the series. I felt like these were the easiest out of all the species for me to visualize so it wasn’t too hard to make this haha.

The sinen have really bothered me because they seem to be a very important species within the carryx’s hierarchy, but the only description we get of them is that they are like a “goat mixed with a cuttlefish” haha. I think I accomplished that here while making it look like a creature that could actually exist. I took a few artistic liberties, such as adding the fin around their body, as well as imagining they can change color like an earth cuttlefish. I also always imagined them as quadrupedal, but the text isn’t super clear on that. It just says they have “boneless arms”.

Anyway, I’m curious as to what you think!

I noticed there’s not a lot of fan art on here so I wanted to add my interpretation. I want to do all of the main species, but I had to start with the massive murderous mantis shrimp themselves haha
