Late 30s foreign guy here.

Maybe I’m just getting old, but dating apps have made flirting feel painfully boring.

Too many “hey how are you” chats, weird messages, ghosting, people matching and then saying absolutely nothing. Surely this can’t be the best we can do.

I miss proper conversation. A bit of humour. A bit of mischief. Someone who can joke, tease a little, talk about real things, and still be kind.

There are so many lovely Irish women around, but somehow online dating makes everyone act like they’re doing admin work.

What actually makes you want to keep talking to a man online?
