Summer pruning - heat or rain?

I summer prune my tiny orchard to keep it small. Plum, Asian pear, cherry, apple, peach + berries. A few weeks ago around solstice we had endless rain. Straight into a heat wave that is now transitioning into at least another week of rain. I put off pruning during the heat, but had I known more rain was coming I would have just gone for it.

Anyone know what happens if I just keep waiting for dry weather? I'd really rather not skip this year because they're getting super dense. Northern panhandle WV so even if it's not raining it's still going to be humid as hell. Any advice?

What happened to me during evaluation?

Hi, friends. I went in for my eval this morning and about 3 hours into it, while filling out a self-report, I got so overwhelmed that I couldn't stop crying. The tester had to go get the doctor and then send me on a break and carefully titrate the rest of the eval, cutting out a long self-report at the end.

I don't even know why it happened. One minute I was looking at all the questions, trying to find the ones I could answer easily and trying to think through the other ones and the next minute I was weeping. I know I was looking at a lot of areas that I've worked really hard on and still scored high, so that does feel bad, but that's why I was there so it shouldn't feel that bad?

Has this happened to anyone else? Did you receive insight about it? I feel like my brain got broken somehow and I just really want my life back.
