Low stakes opportunity to meet new friends

I see a lot of posts on here about how/where to make friends as an adult in Lincoln. I'm having a lil event at Jake's Cigars and Beercade Jr on Saturday 3-7pm. If you're new to town or simply looking to meet other adults with common interests, come find me! For the most part, we are into art, niche hobbies, video games and board games, crafting, tattoos, music, etc. The best part of what I do is watching random friendships form. No entry fee, but I recommend grabbing a drink from the bar (they have NA options, too).

First Friday at Tower Square is in downtown Lincoln from 5-9pm on May 1, June 5, July 3, August 8, September 4, & October 2 with free live music from 6-9pm. If you're new to town or just looking for a sense of community, this is the place! Mingle with local artists and makers, find a new favorite snack, enjoy a free performance. There is plenty of outdoor seating in Tower Square so you can stay awhile and socialize. If aesthetic park views and an energetic atmosphere is your thing, come say hi!
