Hi there!! A little about me…I moved to the cedar park area almost a year ago now and have been struggling to put myself out there and make friends so here I am! Some of my interests include arts and crafts, working out, anything outdoorsy, going to concerts, going out to bars, clubs, etc., shopping/thrifting & I’m 420 friendly! Hi guys! So a few weeks ago I put in a new availability and when I could start it.Well then some things happened so I went up to the store and talked to one of the managers and let them know my situation and asked if it would be okay to hold off and not start the new availability until 4 weeks from that day and that I would only be able to work weekends until then. She understood and said that was fine and would let all of our other managers know my situation and not to worry about coming in on the shifts they had already had me scheduled for during the week. I was planning to start the new availability this upcoming week, well yesterday morning I got an email from ulta asking me to complete an “exit survey”, then I go into workjam and I cant even log in. So I called my store and apparently I got terminated due to “job abandonment” because they said I did a NCNS on Monday. My 2 higher up managers said they knew nothing about my situation and it was the first time they were hearing about it. Even if they didn’t know why wouldn’t they call or text me that day to figure why I didn’t show up or call?? The I could’ve explained my situation to them and how I already talked to a manager about it. Instead I just get an email asking to fill out a dumbass exit survey because i’ve been fired??? She also claimed that it was due to attendance but I had 6 points?? Also I was scheduled this past Sunday but I woke up an hour late and I called the store and let them know I had just woke up and will be there and my task manager told me not to bother coming in…i feel like that shouldn’t even be considered a call out, but they counted it and thats what put me at 6.

What do y’all think about the situation??
