So got a notification recently that Hetzner is increasing the .com registration price to EUR 17,26 yearly incl. VAT, allegedly due to price increases on the end of their registrar. It's "just" a 7% increase, but I remember not too long ago, com/net/org prices were around EUR 12,- yearly, and stayed at that level for a decade or so. I do not have many domains, and probably it's good to increase the costs of domain hoarding. Anyone else at Hetzner and found another reliable registrar for the DACH region, with lower domain prices? Or have these increases taken place everywhere?

Bei uns in AT hat die nic.at gerade ausgeschickt, dass mit dem Inkrafttreten der nationalen NIS2-Umsetzung Domaininhaber künftig auch Kontakt-Telefonnummern bekanntgeben müssen. Idee ist es anscheinend, z.B. Fake Shops damit besser bekämpfen zu können (frage mich aber, was das bringen soll; gibt der Fake Shop halt ne falsche Telefonnummer an).

Ich hab da gerade nicht so den Durchblick technisch: heißt das, die Telefonnummer wird dann im Whois öffentlich einsehbar sein? Wie wurde das denn in DE umgesetzt? Falls die Telefonnummer dann wirklich öffentlich einsehbar wird, frage ich mich, was sich die Verantwortlichen da wieder gedacht haben, wir gehen doch eh schon in Spam und Phishing Calls unter...

Ich werde mir da wohl irgendwie ne zweite Telefonnummer dafür checken müssen... falls das jemand schon gemacht hat, gerne Tipps (vllt. wäre eine virtuelle Voice Box am Besten, mit Voice to Mail).

Just curious, every goddamn day I'm getting mail and app notifications from Teams about new messages and activities in various channels of orgs that I am part of. However, it never works at the first attempt(s) to actually navigate directly to these messages. Either it just opens the Teams standard view (and I can search for the new content myself), or it complains that I need to log in (while I'm logged in), or I'm presented with a channel that is empty. So have to log out and log in again, enjoy the "wait while we're settings up" screens while MS flushes my productivity down the toilet. This happens constantly every workday and I'm slowly getting insane.

Just curious if someone does NOT have these issues.
