writers disappearing without notice
am i the only one who feels that its very disrespectful of writers to disappear and stop updating their unfinished stories without any explanation?
and then (not all the time) they come back for a while until they disappear like a few months later? and it just goes on this way forever?
i have a writer on my mind (gracie who wrote bad boy roommate, iykyk) and shes done this multiple times
and like i get it, we all have some personal stuff and sometimes theres no time to write and update, but i think the reader (supporters basically) should at least get like a word or two saying theyre going on a hiatus or sum.
especially since gracie has ream account, where you pay for earlier updates and where she has also stopped posting updates on rn (idk how it works, could be that youre not charged now that shes not posting)
im not saying that writers have to be active no matter what, not at all. i understand that sometimes stuff is happening in their personal life and they might not be able or just not want to write and update, but i think the readers deserve a little acknowledgment
