Grand Re-opening party of a DIY Artist space in charlestown (Thursday and Friday Night!)
Hey everyone! I help run Glitch Gallery, a DIY artist space on the Charlestown–Somerville border. The building has been home to artists, musicians, burners, makers, for nearly 25 years.
We’re opening the space for a two-night fundraiser and community gathering:
Thursday: A relaxed social night with an acoustic lineup, including a live harp performance.
Friday: A higher-energy night with a full lineup of DJs.
Both nights will feature projection mapping, interactive installations, and other tech-art projects throughout the space. It’s also a chance to explore the space, meet the people who make things here, and connect with others interested in experimental art and independent creative spaces.
If you’ve been looking for a creative community to become part of. We’d love to meet you. Come for one night or both!
This is the first time I’ve shared one of our events here, but it won’t be the last. We’re planning more gatherings in the coming months and hope to welcome some new faces into the community.
Please be respectful of the space, area and neighbors, We have a set of private stairs in our parking lot that we will light up with a Red Led light! Please use that entrance and RSVP so we can have an accurate head count for the night.
Absolutely no parking at the building either. There's street parking nearby on dorrance/temple/arlington as well as parking lot by sullivan square! Plan to Uber or take the train here!
RSVP, location, and arrival details will be available through the Partiful:
