IcelandAir permanently lost our luggage. Any advice on finding a human to help file a reimbursement claim?
Not permanent IcelandAir employees, who were all super professional and nice onboard. Instead, contractors working for IcelandAir at the counter at BWI were 100% rude and appear to have been responsible for permanently losing our suitcase. They forced us to check it in - not gate check, but immediately at the counter - although it was a purposely very small carry on suitcase that fit in their sizer. Filed a lost luggage claim at airport upon arrival in Iceland, the Icelanders there were responsive via email for the 2 weeks we were in Iceland with no luggage (thank you IcelandCover, too). Now that we need to be remunerated, it has been impossible to get a human to help us file our reimbursement claim; the online system keeps looping us back to filing a lost luggage claim. Any helpful suggestions?
