​Hey everyone,

​I’m looking to land a job on the Vineyard and wanted to ask the community for recommendations or leads on good places to work. I live in vineyard haven.

Ive heard sirens for tge past 10 minutes what is going on

​I just permanently moved to the island from all the way across the country (not just for the summer). I’m looking to join a gym, but it’s been a really long time since I worked out so I'd feel way too embarrassed to join a fancy, intense gym.

​My main requirement is a lap pool. The YMCA seems like the best bet, but I just want to know about the vibe. Is it comfortable and down-to-earth for beginners? Also, is the place pretty clean, especially the pool and locker rooms?

​I'd love any honest thoughts from locals. Thanks!
