Fitness friendly but nice (and budget friendly) local food?
I’m starting to get bored of my routine meals and paiseh if this has been discussed before.
Basically what are some macro friendly food that are still easily available (and nice, and cheap) in Singapore (ideally hawker or at most $20-30/meal kinda restaurants). Not talking about cooking your own chicken breast or salmon fillet etc..
Here are some food that i rotate almost daily
- yong tau foo soup but mostly veggies and 2-3 eggs, less rice
- chicken porridge with eggs
- sliced fish soup with eggs
- chicken rice with eggs
- fried saba with rice
- astons double up chicken with garden veggie, skip the skin & reduce sauce
- 蚝蛋
- chicken pho with eggs
(Ya i always add eggs to help with the macro..)
Also happy to discuss if any of my regulars are actually not very optimal haha
