Just got fed this today by the YouTube algorithm and somehow have apparently missed it all these years. Sounds great! Anyone know the Alpha Mile song it turned into?

The Friday LA show mixed up their recent lineup a bit with a surprise removal of Folding, which makes some space in the two-night set. They’re playing 12-13 songs a night at these shows with a pretty consistent pattern of only doubling up on the main catalog (Stars, ICL, new Inlet singles). Given all that, we can probably expect to see these 12 songs tonight:

Dipper, Pod, Axolotls, Comin Home, Waves, Summoning, Step, Den, Folding, ICL, Stars, Hate It Too

BUT — what if they made it to song 13 and didn’t just play Hair Long again? What would it be? Based on their history and situation, here’d be my guesses in order of likelihood:

1. Scraper / Winder — get another E2K into the set.

2. Cloud City — finish off playing Inlet along with Tim’s fancy new guitar line added to the album recording.

3. Lazarus / Bloom / Inuit — add another one-off from Downward, which they don’t play often but have popped up in the past decade. I’d lose my shit if I missed this upset.

4. Aphids / Kitty / Boy With Stick — throw in a surprise B-side upset. One of these would bring the building down.
