Zombie Snatcher - the letter puck got stuck

Zombie Snatcher - the letter puck got stuck

The letter puck got stuck against this post in the auto fill dispenser unit. I think that the dome has to be removed in order to access this area, which seems to be a somewhat involved task, so to save the hassle for the techs I kept playing in the hopes that the next puck lift would help dislodge the letter puck.

Any of you who have followed along when I post about this game know that I'm not great at dropping pucks. So it's not like I'm dropping a puck every play...not even close.

I learned that the agitator (the official name in the manual for the spinning metal bar that's supposed to knock the pucks back into play) is not quite long enough to have any effect on this stuck puck.

It wasn't until the third lift that some pucks were located in a manner to help dislodge this letter puck back into play.

Was it worth the effort? Probably not for the most part, but I achieved my initial goal of not having to have our techs remove the dome. I like our tech crew, so if there's anything I can do to relieve the burden on them, I'm all for it.

Letter puck unstuck!

Harpoon Lagoon - somebody left the jellyfish

I wish I could say I spotted this from across the room with the telltale alternating purple and white LEDs on the corners of the cabinet, but no, I just regularly hit up Harpoon Lagoon if I have time long enough for the screen to darken once to see if it’s my lucky day and the jellyfish appears.

This is the first time I’ve walked up to the game with the jellyfish already out waiting for someone to harpoon it. And this time, that someone was me.

500 tickets is certainly not the best jackpot for the jellyfish (I’ve seen it range from a high of 1000 to a low of, I don’t remember exactly, 200-something?) but still not bad for not having spent any time playing trying to get the jellyfish to appear.

Between the 500 jackpot, a couple of sharks and some random other fish, I ended up with 648 tickets for this swipe after all was said and done. No complaints here!

Star Trek: 10 Tribbles and finally one close enough to the edge

At long last, after seeing playfield after playfield full of Tribbles way too far away from the edge for me to play, today was the day that I had a chance to play the four Elaut tokens burning a hole in my pocket.

I counted ten Tribbles with one hanging off the edge toward the right end. After I played through three tokens, it dropped!

Finally, redemption for the last time I tried this with an even larger pocketful of Elauts and turned up empty 😁.

Just when I thought that finding 8 Tribbles on one side was a lot, here are 11 Tribbles! I did not play because nothing was close enough to the edge, but hopefully someone was able to get all of these.

This photo is from sometime last week. I hope somebody was able to nab all 8 Tribbles! None were close enough to the edge for me to try my luck.

This definitely gives out cards. 6 chips per swipe on half price day. I didn't play it myself but was watching someone play for a little bit. It will take me a little while to figure out what all is going on 😆.
