People with depression in NYC, how are you pulling it off?

I'm currently basically on my couch non stop because of depression. I have to move in a month, I have savings, but my income sucks so I don't even know if I can get a new lease. And I don't really have the motivation to look for sublets either.

I was talking to someone who knew a person in NYC so depressed they didn't leave their apartment for two months. And honestly I just don't know how people are pulling it off, staying afloat in this city while dealing with this.

How are you all doing it?

Is it even possible for me to get a lease? I don't know whether to even try. (self employed)

I'm self employed, and because of depression my income the last few years has been rough. I started turning it around this year and have some momentum (around $60k in the last few months), but I've just learned I have to move.

I have around $200k in bank accounts, plus $25k in retirement. My income looks weak on paper, so I don't want to waste an agent's time if I'm just going to get rejected. Am I stuck with sublets for now, or is a lease realistic with savings like this?

Anyone have spectrum internet and experiencing issues?

My internet constantly drops out, on top of that I'm getting lots of slow loading speeds to the point it feels like I'm on aol in the 90s. Wondering if it's just me or spectrum just sucks
