Help Identification

Just recently moved to an apartment (1.5 months ago) in Houston Texas (never lived in the south) and noticed just a “couple of insects” at the beginning and didn’t think anything of it. Got professional pest services who identified them as German cockroaches and have been dealing with this for the past 4 weeks. Had their full cleanout service couple weeks ago and still seeing them sporadically. The activity has gone down but now instead of seeing them only in the kitchen, I saw one to two in the master bedroom and bathroom. The management office is calling pest control to our place every week but doesn’t want to give us any money off rent. Had to pay for our own cleaning person and also had to move everything out of the cabinets, kitchen on our own (they didn’t seem to care).

Haven’t done any of my own treatments yet. Not sure what to do at this point, thinking about finding a new place. Is this type of issue always occurring in the south, hesitant to move because don’t want to deal with another infestation
