eating Pineapple spiked my tinnitus

I just found out that pineapple spikes my tinnitus massively . I think it only happens if you have an allergy. Has anyone else here experienced this before?

some things that are risky to do with my tinnitus

I know the popular answer is to not be around loud noises, but for me it’s mainly my own body!!
let me explain:
Whenever I yawn and stretch - I get a spike in my right ear’s T ( specifically 1 tone whose pitch changes with the yawn, I probably have 4 tones in that ear)
If I stretch too much and comfortably - I can acquire a new tone ( mostly) in my left ear!
Right Ear T - ear infection, left ear T - cervical nerve irritation

Time to re-habituate again :)
It feels like my existence is wrong!! I want to be able to stretch and yawn properly like so many people do, this shit breaks me so much…My body is horrible…

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY I CANT STRETCH WITHOUT MAKING THINGS WORSE
IM SCARED TO DO COMPLETELY NORMAL HUMAN BODILY THINGS… MY BODY WANTS TO STRETCH AND YAWN I CANT FULLY CONTROL THIS

question to neurotypicals: what does being “ rude” mean to you? whats the general definition of rudeness that’s agreed upon yourselves?

question to neurotypicals: what does being “ rude” mean to you? whats the general definition of rudeness that’s agreed upon yourselves?

i’m neurodivergent and I have a different definition of rudeness which other neurotypicals don’t seem to get. I don’t want to explain in detail what is it because i’m not willing to fight redditors , but what I can say is for me rudeness is rooted more so in actions than words.

i’m curious about your perspective and i’d like to inform myself!

It only keeps getting worse and no one knows why

It only keeps getting worse and no one knows why. I’m at a very conflicting stage in my life where unfortunately the bad outweighs the good and I feel very scared. Yes i’m an adult (22) , but I don’t think i’ve felt this scared in my life before. What happens when i’m 60? will T be the only thing I hear? I wish to be hearing the birds and nature till my end. Seems like every loud sound gets stuck in my head even if I hear it for only a few seconds. My brain is so broken. I wish I wasn’t born , I hate my body and myself. I don’t have much ways to cope… can’t even visit doctors for a hearing test.

found a small worm inside my ear

update: its a carpet beetle skin according to gemini AI, so will probably clean the whole bedroom… ??

What should I do??? I dont have health insurance in this country and i’m thinking of going to the emergency with my medical card from my national country. I woke up with feeling something itchy inside my right ear and I thought it was wax , so I put my nail in ( not too deep) to drag it out because usually its easier for me to use my nail to dig wax out. And instead I get this worm out, and i’m just confused??
I haven’t laid on the grass or anything. Maybe the walk in nature from a few days ago did it? idk. I didn’t feel anything strange in my ear before falling asleep.

context:
worm in right ear
have T in both ears ( multi-tonal )
right ear T from 4 months - from a cold
left ear T from 3 months - from nerve damage/ irritation
22 yo.

can a ambulance siren cause hearing loss?

I wear headphones outside for hearing protection, but I was wondering if an ambulance sound that i’ve been exposed to briefly cause hearing loss? I wasn’t wearing any hearing protection at home because I don’t tend to unless necessary, the windows were open and the ambulance passed by.

venting

I’m scared of existence. New tones every few days…now with a new tone of the ambulance. Makes me want to redo my hearing test ( which was perfect before) but im in a new country and I cant, I don’t know the medical system here. I keep hallucinating the sound of the ambulance which I tend to her almost 30 times a day. I’m only 22 and i’m scared of my future, of my brain. It feels like it’s breaking more and more and more and there’s nothing to stop it. Having to re-habituate all over again is so exhausting. I just feel utterly depressed , why is my brain doing this…Just when I thought it’s getting better - it got worse. I feel like with the way this is going i’ll develop dementia at some point and start hearing voices that aren’t there then i’ll be put in a psych ward and maybe kill myself. I’m too young for this to happen but it sounds down the line. Just a fellow victim of this torture venting with NOTHING to help. Cant even go outside properly without getting mentally attacked by sounds. Feeling devastated.

hearing the ambulance in my head ?

Started yesterday evening.
is this what people call musical tinnitus? I hear the exact sound of the ambulance in my head. Recently moved to a capital city and it has ambulances much more often than my small town. Maybe like 30 times a day? i’m not sure about the exact number. I don’t go out often but I suppose opening the windows and the sound could have done something to my brain. I feel insane…I don’t understand. It’s the EXACT sound just much lower volume.
The sound goes away when I sleep and wake up for a bit or if I sing to myself. I think it got to my right ear where it’s playing the exact sound for some reason as if it wasn’t enough…my brain is fucked.

Is this indicative of a permanent damage to my ears / brain?
Should I be protecting my ears while at home too?

yawning spikes my T massively. Any advice?

Hello everyone. I recently discovered that yawning spikes my T. When I yawn , this only affects my right side - I get a really loud sound in my right ear that lasts till the yawn is over then the overall T spikes in that ear, much louder. Both of my ears have T for different reasons, but yawning spikes only my right T which developed after catching a cold.
I also have clicking in ears much before the yawning issue started. The yawning issue started maybe a month ago?
I had some cavities worked on at the dentist but I doubt that’s the cause.

right side T goes from mild to moderate to severe , depending on how many times and how wide I yawn…
Also a weird sharp tone appears when it spikes that otherwise isn’t heard / present.

any advice or facial exercises I should do? anyone who can relate?

tightness in face and pressure in teeth

Ever since my T got worse , I noticed that there’s more tightness in my face and pressure in my teeth. I think that’s my body trying to cope subconsciously to this added stress.

Did anyone else start getting tightness in face and in your mouth/ teeth after developing T?

why is my brain adding new tones to my left ear?

context:

right sided T started 3 months ago from cold ( sweating after gym) , multitonal - 2 tones now, one multitonal and another sharper (?) sound , developed ETD

left side T started 1 month ago after bending my head backwards to test my mobility ( mistake). Irritated the nerves , not sure if they’re permanently injured. Nothing on xray, neurologist prescribed some vitamins , herbal stuff. ( I don’t think they did anything). I think it has 4-5 tones now…

whenever I go to sleep , I start getting static in my head and different tones mainly in my left ear. Many of these tones have stuck around ( i’d say like 70% of them stick ). I try to massage my head but it feels so difficult moving the sound away from my ears…and often times it moves on its own. ( THIS doesnt apply to already stuck tones / sounds)
There’s no sleeping position that helps, sleeping on my back is the worst about the tones.

Why does my left ear keep accumulating different tones every few weeks ??? I don’t have hearing loss or acoustic trauma. The last 2 tones appeared a few days after each other. Any suggestions what I should do?

I feel so defeated because of this…I don’t understand why is my brain adding new sounds to that ear :(
last night got SBOT 2 times…they’re very sharp, some sounds are so scary.

those with clicking in their ears: have you ever experienced this?

This isn’t T related post , just curious because there might be others who experienced this. So I get clicking in both ears. I used to get it only if I were to be laying down and occasionally , but became constant after catching a cold. The only way I can describe it is loud and hard. Yesterday I was crying and blew my nose out, some mucus came out and suddenly the clicking became softer? it isn’t as hard and loud. I don’t think this affected the T in any way.

have your clicking became slightly softer and less loud after you removed mucus from your nose?

This clicking could be ETD or TMJ, but i’m willing to bet in this case it’s the ETD since it got better by removing mucus from my nose.

weird dream I had

I had a dream 2 nights ago of a woman ( looked like in her 30s, brown hair , brown tshirt). telling me to take “ clorazepam” for the ringing in my ears. My brain kept looping ( replaying it) this name enough to wake me up. I googled the name because I had never heard of it before , and the closest thing to that name was “ clonazepam” which is a benzo and i’ve heard of benzos before in this sub.

Highlighted in pink the closest names to the one I heard from this chart that I found someone else had posted here.

I know they can be really addictive , I was thinking of trying 0,5mg only once. Do you think it’s worth the risk or avoid it entirely?
my brain is probably playing games on me, but still decided to ask.

scared of my body

I first developed T 2 months ago from a cold ( as i’ve been told by ENT ). Woke up with crazy high pitched ringing in my right ear and my ear was muffled. I managed to blew my eustachian tube open when I cried about it and blew my nose, which opened my ear and lowered the noise significantly. I was given antibiotic tablets and nose drops - one of the drops was giving me headaches so I had to stop it and continue with a different kind. The redness in my throat had gone down and the fluid in my eardrum was gone , but the sound remained. It’s a 2 tone weewoo sound.

1 month or so later I managed to irritate/ damage my nerves in the cervical spine. I have bad posture and was testing my range of motion (mistake). Went to neurologist and they told me it’s from stress, prescribed me herbal medicine and B vitamins. They done x-ray and said everything looks good.

on day 8 of nerve healing - I started to develop rapidly changing static noise, mainly would happen whenever I would lay down. One night I woke up with developed T in my good ear ( high pitched ringing). Now ironically i’m not here because of the initial T , but because there’s something very scary happening with my body. It added a new tone 2 nights ago which is harder to habituate to because it’s two tonal.

my question is

how do you stop nerves from misfiring and adding new tones to your ear while sleeping?

i’m not willing to sacrifice my sleep in order to keep the nerves safe all the time. It feels like i’m being punished for living? and the nerves will do whatever they want. I don’t want them to get compressed but also i’m tired of constant rehabituation - this is the 3rd time now. Does anyone know at all how can I stop my body from adding new tones??? I don’t have hearing loss.
I’m here because my ENT and neurologist are useless. I appreciate any insight into this situation…

current supplements i’m taking:
magnesium glycinate
B complex ( all 8 B vitamins)
vitamin D + K2
inositol and d chiro inositol
zinc
vitamin C occasionally
omega 3s if I have them on hand ( not always )

medications i’m on: metformin, Yasmin birth control
( PCOS treatment)
