Hi all!

I am currently at the stage of writing out my family tree. I may be over thinking this, but I don’t have much information about my great-grandparents (immigrated from Croatia to the US 1915-1914) and most of my family doesn’t have a lot of information about them either.

I can put together information from birth certificates, marriages, newspaper clippings etc, it’s just not something the family has retained information wise. Like not a lot of family lore there that’s factual.

I am curious because it seems like some family trees are incredibly detailed - and I won’t have that information. Should I hire a Croatian researcher (I am curious anyways) or is bare bones - acceptable?
