New Rule: No videos of hunting kill-shots or any other death or gore.
If hunting is your thing and you want to show off an incredible shot that you made, please feel free to do so over at r/ThermalHuntingVideos or r/ThermalHunting.
Something that has been brought up frequently via modmail is: Not every user of this sub wants to start their day off by seeing Bambi going from biology to physics.
Since others have now created subs dedicated specifically to hunting with thermography and videos of the same, I'm introducing rule #3 today.
The discussion of thermal weapons optics is still welcome here.
To reiterate the purpose and rules of this sub:
This subreddit is a place for users of thermal imaging technology to discuss and learn about thermal imaging, share pointers and techniques, and share images.
RULE #1: No shilling.
RULE #2: No AliExpress links or discount codes.
RULE #3: No videos of kill-shots or any other death or gore. Discussion of thermal hunting optics is welcome here, but not everyone wants to start their day by seeing Bambi go from biology to physics. If you want to show off a video of your amazing kill, we encourage you to do so on r/ThermalHuntingVideos or r/ThermalHunting.
