What is the Rumble champion

I have no idea how to play this matchup. I'll consider it a win if i'm only down 50cs. Cannot approach the wave, cannot interact with him. Swifties rush but will do your entire health bar in one combo.

They'll either run deathfire touch and burn you alive every 2 seconds if you dare be on the same screen as them (and run away), or stormaider's and you will never catch them. I am so happy it's not a common pick, because it's such a safe, stupid champion.

Any tips in general? Champions that do good against him? I'm a Poppy main/occasional Jax player, and both struggle really hard. It's completely unplayable for Poppy.

On removing counterpicks.

A very simple solution to the concept of counterpicking, which as far as I know most toplaners are not a fan of, is just to make both laners of the different teams to pick at the same time during champ select, then reveal their champs at the same time after a little timer.

You can still adjust your champ based on team comps depending on the order the game gives you, but there would be no more counterpicking your specific enemy laner. And since they already removed lane swaps by introducting the quests, you should never have to worry again about being counterpicked.

Thoughts? Is this something you'd enjoy in game?

Edit : this would also require a lane swap lock after a little timer in champ select, so people don't counterpick your champ after the fact in another lane then request a swap with their toplaner.

What dashes can you never react to?

So for context i'm on the older side (28, basically a grandpa), and my reaction time is really not the best, plus i'm on average playing on 80ms ping. I'm wondering what dashes you guys can never react to, and have to read your opponent's body language to predict?

Telegraphed, slow dashes such as Sylas E2, Galio E, Riven Q3, Rengar jump, etc. are not a problem. But Shen's E is way too fast for example. I can only react to it if he casts it on max range and i'm hyper focused on him. Panth W I can only react to if he doesn't throw it point blank range. Pyke e is impossible to react to. Same as Fizz q or Irelia Q (have to predict her dashing through a low hp minion). Sejuani Q and Renekton E are 50/50.

What dashes can you never react to? Which ones are the easiest? Curious to see if my own experience is similar to other Poppy players

What's the best counterplay to cheater recalls on toplane?

Let's say you're playing against a strong lane bully (Olaf, Darius, etc.) who slowpushed the first three waves into cheater recall.

You already know he is going to recall as you're collecting the stacked waves under turret. You know you don't have the wave clear to fast push the next wave in before he gets back with homeguard and freezes it.

Let's assume no jungle interference. How do you deal with this? What I currently do is slow push, stack minions, and contest them on the rebounce with my level + wave advantage to force the crash. But it's always risky vs Darius/Olaf with ghost, especially since they'll be fresh on mana with an extra long sword. All it takes is one Olaf axe and you're dead or forced to recall on an awful wave state.

Any other options to counter this strategy? For reference, I play mainly Poppy;

Any good alternatives for drafts outkiting Poppy ?

Just had some miserable games playing against teams with champs such as Ashe, Thresh, Senna, Karma, Seraphine, Syndra etc. Since Poppy's engage is telegraphed and very situational, I feel useless in teamfights without flash.

I had a game where I was pretty fed and my team was struggling. When I tried to rotate to mitigate the damage, I was shut down solely by their Karma who spent her time slowing me, rooting me, and running away at the speed of light, while the rest of their team just simply ignored me as they targeted my teammates. I didnt have a good time, developed a new hatred for this Karma champ lol.

Would you still pick Poppy into these drafts ? Is there any engage tank champion I can play toplane that is decent into them ?

What is the coolest/most satistfying ability?

Dude, I love the sound of Ornn's R1 so much, it's so fucking cool. It's the sound of impending death coming. You press it on a teamfight and watch everyone scatter and panic, their sweaty hands hovering their F button. And you're the maestro, calmly sipping your coffee, getting to decide who dies today. Your lock eyes with the flashless mage, just like the life in between his eyes, and BAM. R2, cc locked for thirteen business days, evaporated from your screen. So damn satisfying.

Honorable mention for God King Darius's sound effect on his R. It's glorious.

How do you navigate teamfights?

So, I realize this question has a lot of nuance and has several possible answers, but I could use some pointers on when to dive/peel/engage/disengage etc. My default approach is to try to make space for my team, for example in dragon pit fights, walk up first, soak up cc and damage and try to survive as long as possible so my team can capitalize on that.

I like playing with carry divers (Viego, Yi, Diana etc.) because I know I can create opportunities for them. But I struggle when Im the only frontline in my team, especially if enemy team just chooses to ignore me and go straight for my backline.

So, how do you play teamfights? Do you R away key targets (ulting Swain for example) or save it for an AOE knockup? Do you dive their ADCS or play front to back and trust your carries? I'd love any insight to figure out the right decision for each situation.

What champions make you tilt when you face them?

In lane and in teamfights.

When I first started playing league, Teemo and Shaco drove me crazy. Teemo for obvious reasons, Shaco for his cheese lvl 2 or lvl 3 ganks as you're still slow pushing, and the fact that you can't really interact with him as a melee.

Nowadays, I loathe to see Milio or Janna in the enemy team. Try playing Singed or Poppy or any engage champion into them, the teamfights are absolutely miserable. Milio throwing his soccer ball at me makes me unreasonably angry. Hate that champ.

Edit : Obligatory Garen mention.

Soraka top 40 games in a row

I know people are sick of hearing people rant about supports going top. But this is genuinly crazy I dont think ive ever in my history of playing faced the same champion with the same runes 40 fucking times in a row. Its actually gotten ridiculous playing normal tops has gotten so unrewarding recently why play a tank and suffer through lane phase being under tower and half hp from 8000 autos (i.e. 2 seconds of auto attacks) from any Soraka top laner just hoping ur team wins lane or that you scale. And before someone replies giving me a champion counterpart to Soraka or whatever top support. That isnt the point. I shouldnt need to play a specific champ or suffer all game. There needs to be actual counterplay
