Haval V7 vs Tank 300 vs Jetour T2 as a UAE daily — which one would you actually buy?

Trying to decide between the Haval V7, Tank 300 and Jetour T2 petrol as a daily in the UAE.

I’ve driven the V7 and T2. The V7 felt smoother and nicer to drive, while the T2 had a stronger presence to me. The V7 maybe felt slightly smaller in person than I expected, but overall both were good.

I haven’t properly driven the Tank 300 yet, so I’m curious how it compares.

Main use would be work, highway driving, gym, going out, and some occasional off-roading.

For owners, which one is best for comfort, AC, fuel economy, reliability, service/parts, interior quality and road presence?

If you had to keep one for 5 years, which would you pick?

Thinking of buying a G700. Owners, is it worth the overall cost?

I’m seriously considering buying a G700 and I genuinely love the car, but I’m starting to add up all the costs before committing.

I drive around 60 to 100 km a day and would charge it every night. The problem is I live in an apartment building, so the charger installation is complicated. The current route could require around 80 metres of cable and cost close to AED 10k. I may be able to swap parking spaces with a neighbour and reduce the cable run to around 30 to 35 metres, but even then I’m expecting the installation to cost around AED 8k.

I’m also 24 years old, so comprehensive insurance could be expensive, and then there’s finance, servicing every 10,000 km and the normal ownership costs.

I know the G700 is a lot of car for the money and I’m not buying it purely to save fuel. I really like the size, comfort, power and the overall driving experience. I’m just wondering if, once you add everything together, owners still feel the car was worth getting into.

For those who own one, would you buy it again? How has reliability been so far, how much are your services costing, what did you pay for insurance, and have there been any unexpected expenses or issues you wish you knew about before buying?
