Staff Job Not providing Kit?

Hey Folk, saw a job post up for a staff photographer role that expects you to have all the kit already (gimbal, camera, lens, tripod). Uk based company. That's not how a staff role works is it, or are they just taking the p***?

Trauma and losing your special interest ?

Sadly for me my special interest was a specific line of work I worked in - I loved it, it kept me somewhat structured and I understood the rules and how to operate in it. It was, and still is my passion as well which I felt incredibly lucky to be able to do as a career.

Unfortunately for me my life really did revolve around it, which I know doesn't help things. Sadly, I had a really bad experience with bullying, harassment and stalking from a colleague that had to involve the police and I haven't felt safe or comfortable working in that line of work since. This was over two years ago, but I went into what I now know is a huge shutdown mode, and have since really struggled to exist. Depression, anxiety, un-a living thoughts, eating disorder... you name it I've experienced it.

It breaks my heart, and I don't know what to do. I still struggle with everything related to it now. The trauma is so long lasting I can't be around it as hobby, and working in it is off the table still. Even seeing friends and old colleagues has become really difficult, and I feel really lonely and like I've lost who I am. I felt relatively "normal" until it all came crashing down.

Has anyone else experienced the loss or trauma around their special interest ? What did they do?

Does anyone else just love summer because sunglasses means

a) you don't have to try and make eye contact no one will know if you're not

b) it's more acceptable to wear sunglasses to stop bright lights ?
