Advice needed for timing of the pill with travel/timezone shift
Hi all!
I’ve been on the pill since Feb. Currently on my second month of 4mg. I am going on an international trip (eastern time zone US to Iceland) this week and was hoping for advice on how to best adjust my pill for the travel day.
So ordinarily I’m one who takes the pill between 5-7am most days. For my trip, we are leaving Tuesday at 8pm. So my Tuesday AM dosage will be fine. My concern is the Wednesday dosage. It is a flight where we will get there at 6am GMT (2AM eastern). However due to my “night” being on a flight I don’t trust that I’d go long enough without food or water for my stomach to properly empty (I end up drinking a lot of water bc I get dry on flights).
Would it be better to take it when I land, despite not having a properly empty stomach etc, or skip that morning and take it properly the next day?
