On the official site it now says that all items dont ship until aug 20 and the colour i want is still out of stock (8GB Teal). Does this mean they are going to drop them on aug 20 or i missed the restock and they are sold out again?
yup so my sd card cacked it today, shame.
i emailed them about exchanging it for the Y2 and paying the difference (i got a partial refund during my initial purchase) but i'm wondering if anyone else has done this or if it sounds plausible that theyd accept this arrangement. it makes sense to me, refund the Y1 then charge me for anything on top of the Y2 etc.
no i will not bother fixing it myself as this voids the warranty and also id honestly just rather get a new one since i only got mine in march of this year.
wondering if this can be DIYed, if not is it a simple repair if i went to a cobbler?
my y1 used to have a great battery life, then it died one day (was playing music and i didnt notice) and i forgot to charge it until the next day. ever since then even when i charge it to full and i make sure its not playing music, after a while when i check e.g. in the morning before work it's lost like 20%+ charge doing nothing. i dont know what i did or if it's even my fault, i didnt know letting it die would alter the battery life so aggressively.
