Cyber Security Networking

I’m wondering if there are any local Cyber Security groups or organizations in town? Looking to pivot into Cyber Security and would love to talk to local professionals in the industry to get an idea as to what the industry is like and what to expect. For context, I’m currently working in engineering for a defense contractor and do have about a year of IT experience, so I do have some basic knowledge of certain aspects. I’m also currently preparing to take my CompTIA Security + certification.

Unused connector?

Just finished a valve cover gasket job and was putting everything back together when I noticed this gray/orange female connector that doesn’t seem to have a place. It’s on the driver side wiring harness tied into all the connectors for the coils. I’m pretty sure it’s unused, and I’m usually better at taking pics but I didn’t this time and the job was stretched over a couple days so my mental pictures have since been erased :)
