Although mine are super leggy, I love these plants. Attracting all kinds of pollinators. (Including some outright enormous and evil looking wasps).

So, I was doing some work on my camper’s solar hookup yesterday, and set a panel down on my grass for 30mins in the hot Sun from 1:30-2:00pm almost exactly. Baked a perfect footprint of the damn thing into my grass.

I mean, I suppose it makes sense since the thing is design to absorb the light, but goddamn.

If you’re looking to solar kill your lawn, just cover it in solar panels. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
